Gillette Fusion

I was sceptical at first...5 blades, what are they going to think of next, 6? But I heard from Dennis about it when he received a free sample in the mail. He was quite impressed. So I decided to try it out myself.

I found the shaver on sale and thought it would be worth a try for $7. It has a floating head, which allows for a smoother and closer shave. In fact, it gives me the closest shave I have had in years. It also has a trimmer; Dennis was impressed with it.

I have the power version. The difference is that it causes a little vibration which is intended to provide more comfort. To me it felt odd and did not seem to help much, so I don't recommend it. I do recommend the shaver though, especially if you are like me and have frustration with getting a close, quick shave.

I have recently had trouble getting a good shave. I received a Schick Quattro for free the last time I purchased textbooks this fall semester. I started using it and it was a more interesting experience because it was like my normal Mach3 razor, only it had power behind it as well. The problem now is that I have no refills for it and I no longer have a Mach3 to fall back on. Plus the gel on the blade is now gone so it's a very rough shave and not so enjoyable an experience.
